Being human is not always easy. Sometimes life circumstances can change at a moment’s notice and we are left to figure out how to cope. Our minds may fight against change.

It is difficult enough to face unexpected changes in life, but this is especially true if one is wired for a mental health issue. No one asks to have a mental health vulnerability, but many of us do. Put simply, no one gets to choose their nature. What we can choose is how we nurture ourselves.
